About The Position

We are seeking an IT Systems Administrator I to support our growing organization’s technology needs. This role focuses on maintaining reliable IT infrastructure and assisting the IT Manufacturing and Supply Chain team. It’s ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys problem-solving, and is eager to learn new technologies. Key Responsibilities Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, and peripherals. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to networks, servers, workstations, and cloud systems. Monitor system performance to ensure availability and reliability. Manage user accounts and access controls (Active Directory and authentication systems). Provide technical support to end-users, including remote assistance. Assist with IT projects and initiatives as needed. Stay current with emerging IT trends and technologies. Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours support. Provide on-site office support five days per week. Role Details Limited server work (Hyper-V cluster, SAN, VMs managed by team). Focus on user setup (Active Directory, Google Workspace), hardware troubleshooting, and lab support. Approximately 50/50 mix of hardware and software tasks. Environment: Primarily Windows (70%), with some macOS and iOS. Tools: Jira Service Manager, Slack, Google Workspace, Chrome, printers, Microsoft Intune. Occasional networking tasks (e.g., VLAN setup). Strong emphasis on communication and collaboration.

Requirements

  • 2–3 years of IT experience.
  • Strong work ethic, proactive attitude, and personable demeanor.
  • Technical skills: Windows, macOS, iOS, Active Directory, Jira, asset management.

Nice To Haves

  • Industry certifications (CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft MCP).
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Familiarity with automation tools (BetterCloud, Zapier).
  • Scripting knowledge (PowerShell, Bash, Python).
  • Understanding of ITIL principles.
  • Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field.
