About The Position

The Desktop Field Technician will provide end users with assistance solving computer related problems, such as imaging, LAN connection, malfunctions and program problems Northwest Region located in Fort Smith, AR Travel Required- travel expenses reimbursed. Valid Driver’s License Current Vehicle Insurance Certificates Local Candidates to Ft. Smith : In-person interviews in Little Rock Tests, maintains, and monitors computer programs and systems, including coordinating the installation of computer programs and systems. Coordinates and links computer systems, within an agency and the state, to increase compatibility and to share information. Consults with management to ensure agreement on system principles. Expands or modifies systems to serve new purposes or improve work flow. Determines computer software or hardware needed to set up or alter system. In addition, this person will be required to provide ¬limited after hours support, 24 x 7 on a rotating basis.

Requirements

  • PC Imaging
  • Windows XP/7/8 operating system
  • Active Directory
  • Experienced in Microsoft Office Suite
  • File and Print Management
  • Cisco Switch set-up and troubleshooting
  • Remote Access Management (LogMeIn)
  • Wireless Communications (including wireless device provisioning and data restore)
  • PC Application support
  • Must possess strong customer service qualities and the ability to work in a team environment
  • Must have outstanding problem solving capabilities, strong analytical skills and be able to handle multiple tasks concurrently
  • Must have strong verbal communication skills
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Current Vehicle Insurance Certificates
