Responsibilities

  • Provide on‑site technical support for end users in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Support Windows desktops, peripheral devices, and end‑user hardware while coordinating repairs with external vendors as needed.
  • Serve as a technical liaison between IT, networking teams, and operational technology (OT) stakeholders.
  • Support IT/OT integration by assisting with network‑connected manufacturing equipment and control systems.
  • Troubleshoot network‑related issues, including connectivity, printers, scanners, and device management.
  • Demonstrate foundational understanding of networking concepts such as VLANs, IP addressing, DHCP, DNS, firewall rules, and LAN segmentation.
  • Assist in identifying issues, gathering relevant information, and routing problems to the appropriate technical teams.
  • Support mobile and specialized devices managed through mobile device management (MDM) platforms.
  • Troubleshoot print servers and network‑based printing issues.
  • Deliver strong customer service while supporting users across multiple shifts or schedules.
  • Work independently and proactively to resolve issues and drive tasks to completion.
  • Adhere to workplace safety requirements and operational standards.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure reliable IT services within a production environment.
