About The Position

As a Desktop Support Technician, you'll be a key member of Psomas' IT team, providing frontline technical support that keeps our day-to-day operations running smoothly. You'll support employees with hardware, software, and access needs while delivering excellent customer service to users of all technical backgrounds. This role is essential to maintaining a positive, dependable technology experience across the organization.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • 2+ years of desktop support or helpdesk experience
  • Hands-on experience with Windows 10/11, Office 365, and basic Active Directory tasks
  • Strong customer service, communication, and time management skills
  • Ability to travel between regional offices and provide occasional after-hours support

Responsibilities

  • Provide end-user support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and peripherals
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, connectivity, and printing issues
  • Support Microsoft Office 365, Windows 10/11, and common business applications
  • Manage user accounts, including onboarding/offboarding, password resets, MFA, and access support
  • Deploy, configure, and maintain endpoint devices and assist with inventory tracking
  • Document incidents and resolutions in the IT ticketing system
  • Collaborate with IT and HR teams on equipment rollouts and employee transitions
