About The Position

We are seeking a Desktop Support Technician to join our IT support team. This mid-level role is responsible for providing Tier II technical support and managing Audio-Visual (AV) systems across the organization. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting skills, excellent communication abilities, and experience supporting both end-user hardware and AV environments. The requirements below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Requirements

  • 2-4 years of experience in IT support, with a focus on Tier II troubleshooting.
  • Hands-on experience with AV systems (e.g., Zoom Rooms, Teams, POM, Crestron).
  • Familiarity with Windows and macOS environments.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.

Nice To Haves

  • 365 End-Point User Experience.
  • AV certification or training is a plus.
  • Knowledge of networking fundamentals and remote support tools.

Responsibilities

  • Provide Tier II support for hardware, software, and network-related issues escalated from Tier I.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with AV systems, including conference room setups, projectors, digital signage, and video conferencing tools.
  • Respond to service requests and incidents via ticketing system, phone, and email.
  • Document issues, resolutions, and procedures in the IT knowledge base.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to ensure timely resolution of technical problems.
  • Assist in the setup and support of meetings, presentations, and events requiring AV equipment.
  • Maintain inventory of AV and IT support equipment.
  • Support onboarding and offboarding processes, including device setup and recovery.
