About The Position

We are seeking a hands-on Tier 1 Desktop Support Technician to assist with hardware and software support across multiple locations. This role involves device setup, decommissioning, and on-site technical tasks, ensuring smooth operations for end users.

Requirements

  • Basic knowledge of Windows operating systems and common desktop applications.
  • Familiarity with imaging tools and deployment processes.
  • Strong customer service skills and ability to work independently.
  • Willingness to travel to branch locations as required.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in hardware refresh or deployment projects is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Unbox, image, and perform post-image setup for desktops and laptops, following standardized deployment procedures.
  • Decommission old workstations, ensuring proper data handling and compliance with organizational policies.
  • Conduct branch runs for hardware-related tasks, including card machine replacements and other on-site equipment support.
  • Provide hands-on assistance for various technology needs, including peripheral setup and troubleshooting.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of work performed and escalate issues as needed.
