This position will provide Desktop Support contact for the IT Department including triaging and resolving IT tickets related to hardware and software issues and managing IT inventory.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum 1 year previous experience preferred
  • Experience using and troubleshooting basic to intermediate issues with Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office, Apple MacOS, Apple iOS, and Google Android
  • Professional and courteous to internal end-users
  • Skilled with building a working computer using compatible components
  • Capable to work effectively on their own with little supervision
  • Ability to develop, test and implement solutions to unique or unusual problems detected during troubleshooting
  • As a condition of employment, all successful candidates are required to consent and successfully pass mandatory drug and background screening prior to first day of employment.

Responsibilities

  • Triage incoming IT requests/issues and work on technical issues related to workstations
  • Troubleshoot computer/printer hardware issues and work with IT management to RMA or purchase equipment as needed
  • Maintaining IT stock and work with IT management to update as needed
  • Create and build upon existing documentation that pertain to the Desktop Support team
  • Perform other duties as requested
