About The Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Desktop Support Technician to join our IT team. This role involves supporting large-scale hardware deployments, imaging and configuring devices, and maintaining accurate asset records using MS Excel. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working collaboratively within a small team that travels to multiple sites.

Requirements

Prior experience supporting hardware deployments in a multi-site environment.
Strong knowledge of imaging and deployment tools for Windows-based systems.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for record keeping and asset management.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a traveling team.

Responsibilities

Participate in large-scale hardware deployment projects, including setup, configuration, and installation of desktops, laptops, and peripherals across multiple locations.
Image and deploy devices to the network using standardized processes, ensuring proper configuration, printer mapping, and compliance with organizational policies.
Maintain accurate asset tracking and documentation by navigating, updating, and modifying MS Excel spreadsheets for inventory and deployment records.
Provide deskside and remote support for hardware and software issues, escalating complex problems as needed.
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of deployment schedules and adherence to quality standards.
Assist in troubleshooting network connectivity, peripheral setup, and application installations during deployment activities.
