HOK, a global architecture, design, engineering, and planning firm, is seeking a Design Technology Specialist to join our Corporate Advanced Technology Group. This hybrid position is based in our New York City office, with an on-site presence required three days per week. As a Design Technology Specialist, you will play a key role in advancing the firm’s digital practice by supporting project teams, shaping innovative workflows, and applying specialized design technology expertise across a wide variety of disciplines. You’ll help ensure that our teams are equipped with the tools, resources, and technical insight needed to deliver world‑class projects efficiently and creatively. Design Technology Specialists support discipline‑specific workflows by developing standardized Revit assets, improving model‑based design processes, and performing advanced modeling or analysis. This may include architectural performance studies (massing, enclosures, egress, sustainability), MEP or structural systems modeling, energy or daylight analysis, CFD, fabrication‑ready modeling, or interoperability with engineering analysis tools.
