This position contributes to Starbucks success by supporting the regional store development process to create outstanding store designs in influential markets that elevate our brand, inspire our partners and uphold our company's customer experience. The process is inclusive of all phases of design from landlord coordination and schematics through construction documents and administration while honoring budget, schedule, and operational requirements. As a Store Design Lead, you will Work Stream lead - You will be responsible for implementing portfolio strategy and organization of projects (including project intake and pre-schematic design). Design lead - You will be responsible for independently creating store designs and managing work from concept to detailed design stages. You will produce and present high-quality presentations to effectively share design intent to leaders, peers, and stakeholders. Manage others - You will set goals for the hybrid work team and actively provide external partners with coaching, feedback and development opportunities and modeling leadership behavior for the larger team. Inspire and influence other designers - You will partner with Design Leads in weekly studio workshops, to provide recommendations and drive designs forward to reach their full potential. 8+ years' experience designing new or existing stores
8+ years project management experience
Demonstrates strong design judgment and effectively manages upward
Proactively recognizes areas for team enhancement and effectively mobilizes others to drive implementation.
Recognized as a project leader in developing strategies and driving cross‑functional planning and execution, within your team as well as externally

Responsibilities
