About The Position

We’re seeking a passionate and dedicated Design Engineering Supervisor to join our team. In this role you’ll begin developing leadership within TMH’s Design Engineering Department by overseeing the quoting process and the creation of design packages for customized industrial vehicle solutions based on customer requirements. You will support and supervise engineering processes, procedures, and staff through all milestones of the design lifecycle. Leveraging your engineering background, you will guide the team in troubleshooting and designing electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical forklift systems. You will also provide technical guidance to direct reports and customers, ensuring design solutions comply with applicable regulatory standards for material handling equipment.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Engineering
4+ years relevant experience

Responsibilities

Review Final designs against customer requirements.
Use technical knowledge of manufacturing procedures and processes to determine design viability.
Supervise the design and implementation of department processes.
Lead department Hoshin and improvement initiatives.
Lead cross functional teams in Kaizen and Production activities.
Facilitate employee reviews and improvement plans.
Additional duties as assigned.
