Overall Scope Perform all duties necessary to support the Product Development Engineering team by executing tests, preparing mechanical or electro‑mechanical test setups, documenting results, and maintaining lab organization for a variety of automotive products. . Minimum Requirements High School Diploma or equivalent Background in electrical circuits or mechanical systems is beneficial. Prior experience in engineering, automotive, manufacturing, or testing environments is preferred Ability to read and comprehend engineering drawings, schematics, and test specifications. Basic PC skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and email. Responsibilities and Duties Assemble and prepare test setups for the evaluation of manufactured or purchased components and assemblies. Operate test equipment, mechanical setups, and measurement devices to perform product testing as requested. Follow test procedures, engineering drawings, and documented specifications to ensure proper test execution Record test data accurately and provide clear observations or notes regarding product behavior. Safely operate hand tools, simple machines, and basic mechanical measurement instruments. Maintain an organized, clean, and safe laboratory workspace. Support engineers in analyzing competitor products or conducting failure mode reviews. Manage multiple test tasks with attention to timelines and frequent interruptions. Ergonomic Focus Walking, standing, sitting during an 8 hour shift Ability to perform medium work involving up to 50 lbs of occasional lifting. Ability to perform physical activities such as stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, grasping, and walking. Ability to type and use computer and telephone equipment Hours: 1st shiftPrimary work hours are between 7:00 am – 3:30 pm, Monday- Friday. Over time, as needed
