If you are driven to create a better, more sustainable future, then this is the right place for you. Engineering Lab Technician We are currently seeking an Engineering Lab Technician . This position requires an experienced and energetic professional to assist a lab manager to actively participate in projects to support different engineering teams and labs.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience on PCB soldering, jumper wiring and doing rework instructions
  • Able to replace components down to 0201 size and QFN packages
  • Able to use a range of power and hand tools in the assembly of ECUs, harnesses, test fixtures and racks
  • Basic understanding of analog/digital circuits
  • Ability to work with schematics, and PCB layouts, and troubleshoot down to component level
  • Expertise using cadence allegro viewer and Microsoft windows programs
  • Experience using oscilloscopes, power supplies and DMMs
  • Able to diagnose connectivity faults, broken wire, or faulty connectors, and perform necessary repairs or rework
  • Willing to travel to external test sites, work on car, able to bend and lift-up to 50 pounds.
  • Effective communicator that uses teamwork to build relationships, embrace diversity and help achieve collective success
  • Quality focused
  • Associates degree in Electrical Engineering or related field in addition to the experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Basic knowledge in High-Speed measurements/Setups
  • JTAG programing Certifications is a plus
  • Knowledge in infotainment devices for automotive industry
