Improve functional capabilities, reduce costs, and improve quality of existing products. Create 3D models and 2D drawings accurately and efficiently in SolidWorks. Design and tolerance products taking into account manufacturing processes and process capability  Design and develop products while managing multiple projects simultaneously. Coordinate with Materials, Quality, and Manufacturing to meet cost and quality targets.  Partner with Sales team to identify and provide solutions for new opportunities.  Essential Skills and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (or similar) with a minimum of five (5) years of experience. Knowledge and/or experience in manufacturing processes such as milling, turning, diecasting, urethane molding, injection molding, and plating Knowledge and/or experience with steel, brass, aluminum, and plastics Magnetic or electromagnetic understanding or experience is a plus. Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills Proven ability to design new products using existing or new technologies Collaborates well with other members of a team Performs job duties with minimal supervision  Able to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing CompX National is an Equal Opportunity Employer.

Requirements
