About The Position

The Design Assistant supports the Design team by developing and fostering close cross-functional working relationships; initiating and following-up on communication and processes to maintain workflow. Requirements

  • Minimum two years supporting a department or team.
  • Detail-oriented; highly organized, ability to multi-task with effective time management skills and handle competing priorities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Anticipates needs and plans accordingly.
  • Energetic self-starter.
  • Proficiency in Flex PLM, Illustrator and MS software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook) and other standard office equipment for recording, storing, analyzing, retrieving, and presenting information.

Responsibilities

  • Act as administrative and creative support for Design Team.
  • Assist in organizing and meeting set-up including creating meeting materials and documents.
  • Dress mannequins, pin presentation boards, hang samples and organize sample room.
  • Facilitate meetings by scheduling, coordinating and notetaking as needed.
  • Calendar management to ensure milestones occur in a timely and organized manner.
