About The Position

We are looking for a Junior–Intermediate Interior Design & Material Assistant to support our design and material team.

This role focuses on CAD drawings, material selection, and interior furnishing coordination, while also assisting with daily design-related tasks.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience in interior design or related field
• Proficient in AutoCAD (must-have)
• Good sense of design, color, and materials
• Strong attention to detail and organization skills
• Positive attitude and willingness to support team tasks

Nice To Haves

• Experience in interior furnishing or styling is a strong asset
• Familiar with SketchUp, Photoshop, or similar tools is an asset

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing CAD drawings (plans, elevations, details)
• Support design development and revisions
• Organize and maintain drawing files
• Assist in selecting and coordinating materials (flooring, wall panels, tiles, etc.)
• Prepare material boards and sample packages
• Coordinate with suppliers for samples and specifications
• Support interior furnishing selection (furniture, lighting, decor)
• Assist in show suite / model unit setup
• Coordinate with vendors for sourcing and installation
• Assist in communication with project teams and suppliers
• Help manage schedules, materials tracking, and design updates
• Support ad hoc tasks from the design/material manager
