About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Deputy Program Manager to support mission-critical programs in a fast-paced Government Contracting (GovCon) environment. This role requires a proven leader with strong program management and communication skills, deep understanding of federal contracting, and the ability to manage complex projects involving multiple stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Must have a PMP, FAC-P/PM Senior Level, or Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) Level III certification in Program Management.
  • Shall be knowledgeable of the guidelines provided by the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS), DoD 5000 series, and ICD 801 policies.
  • 8+ years of relevant experience in program or project management. Demonstrated experience supporting Government Contracting (GovCon) programs.
  • Strong background in contracts, subcontracts, staffing, and finance.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and project management tools.
  • U.S. Citizenship is required for all applicants.
  • This position requires an active Security Clearance with appropriate Polygraph.

  • Experience managing large, multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Prior experience with classified programs and secure facilities.
  • Have experience and understanding of customer's RMF and associated systems.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Program Manager in overseeing all aspects of program execution, including planning, scheduling, and performance monitoring.
  • Manage day-to-day operations to ensure compliance with contract requirements and customer expectations.
  • Support contract and subcontract administration, including negotiation, execution, and compliance.
  • Support staffing plans, recruitment coordination, and workforce management to meet program objectives.
  • Monitor program financials, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
  • Prepare and deliver status reports, briefings, and presentations to internal leadership and government customers.
  • Ensure adherence to corporate policies, security requirements, and quality standards.
  • Identify and mitigate risks, implement corrective actions, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Lead subcontracts associated with the mission focused team (MFT).
  • Prepare program status reviews and other formal reviews to be presented to the Government.
  • Review all financial and technical reports before being released to the Government.
