About The Position

Oversee complex programs that drive impactful mission outcomes for our customers as a Deputy Program Manager. Our customer’s success depends on an experienced Deputy Program Manager joining our team to oversee a mission-critical satellite ground system engineering, development, integration, and sustainment program for the U.S. Space Force in Albuquerque, NM.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of experience
  • 5+ years of increasing leadership experience managing progressively larger and more complex DoW programs
  • Experience managing dynamic, high op-tempo mission sustainment programs with system engineering, system integration, operations, and logistics support functions

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with National Space Enterprise
  • Experience implementing model-based system engineering practices and cloud-based Command and Control software systems is a plus
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire
  • ITIL 4 certification

Responsibilities

  • Support the Program Manager in overall contract execution, ensuring delivery of all technical, schedule, and cost objectives
  • Oversee scheduling, resourcing, asset inventory, risk, performance quality to optimize organizational efficiencies, drive performance management, and ensure continual service improvement and innovation efforts across the project life cycle
  • Ensure customer outcomes are achieved while addressing opportunities to increase quality, reduce cost, and minimize risk
  • Provide expertise in business process and system analysis, design, improvement, and implementation efforts
  • Motivate and retain a talented team and manage employee compensation and benefits
  • Ensure safety and security of personnel and government property
  • Develop and maintain high-confidence and high-trust relationships with the U.S. Government via Communications and Stakeholder Engagement plan
  • Proactively coordinate with key Customer mission partners and stakeholders to fully understand Customer requirements, expected outcomes, and areas of concern
