About The Position

The Deputy Manager - MQA, Paint Shop is responsible for ensuring and sustaining paint quality through a proactive approach to process control, preventing quality failures. This role involves coordinating with paint material suppliers on quality issues and upgradation, ensuring product quality parameters and goals are met, and reviewing and analyzing daily quality data, rework, rejection, and customer complaints. The position also includes planning and executing paint quality for new models, colors, and projects, analyzing field complaints, interacting with other shops for quality coordination, facilitating internal/external quality audits, and boosting team morale by providing feedback on outgoing quality.

Requirements

• Bachelors of Technology in Mechanical
• Bachelor of Engineering
• 3 to 5 yrs of General Experience (if BE)
• 7 QC Tools

Responsibilities

• Ensure & sustain Paint Quality by proactive approach to control process to prevent any type of quality failure.
• Co-ordinate with paint material suppliers on quality issues , quality upgradation.
• Ensure product quality parameters , goals are achieved as per plan.
• Review , analysis & action planning of daily quality data , rework & rejection , internal & external customer complaints.
• Paint Quality planning & execution for new model , new color launches , new projects in paint shop.
• Field complaint analysis , action planning for paint shop related complaints.
• Interact with body shop and TCF shops , PVT for paint shop quality related co-ordinations.
• Facilitate Quality related internal/external audits.
• Increase morale of the team by giving them input of outgoing quality as it has a direct impact on product quality and the brand.
