About The Position

The Deputy Manager - MQA TCF is responsible for managing internal and external customer complaints, conducting root cause analysis, and implementing corrective measures. This role involves overseeing product and process audits in the TCF line, ensuring adherence to quality procedures, and driving continuous process improvements. Key duties include analyzing customer complaints and line rejections, establishing and monitoring process capability, managing quality activities for new projects and engineering changes, and ensuring equipment calibration. The position also requires supporting customer quality for field issues, monitoring and improving various concern types, and promoting benchmarking and horizontal deployment of good systems.

Requirements

  • Bachelors of Technology in Mechanical or Bachelor of Engineering.
  • 3 to 5 years of general experience (if BE).
  • Certified Mahindra Yellow / Green belt (MYB/MGB/PGDQM).
  • Knowledge of Pokayoke, SPC, MSA, 7QC tools, HEP techniques.
  • Knowledge of Gap & flushness (1D), Engineering specification testings, Torque audits (SPC).

Responsibilities

  • Internal & External customer complaints handling, Root cause analysis and speedy implementation of corrective measures to meet the targets.
  • Handling overall Product audit and Process audit in TCF line.
  • Concern analysis through effective use of Data analytics, Graphical representation of data for logical conclusion and inferences.
  • Analyzing customer complaints, line rejection and taking corrective actions.
  • Establishing Initial Process Capability (Pp/Ppk) and monitoring ongoing Process Capability (Cp/Cpk).
  • Defining and standardizing all the Quality Procedure. Continuous process improvements (KAIZENS) to achieve consistent product quality.
  • Monitor and ensuring adherence to processes with SOP/SOS by periodic process audit, SPC and MSA studies.
  • Responsible for New projects for quality activities & Engineering Change Management.
  • Ensure gauges / equipment calibration and MSA study as per plan.
  • Release the Weekly/monthly MIS report of Health Status of Shop
  • Support customer quality for analysis of field issues & implementation of new projects
  • Monitor & improve traveller card and Offline concerns , GNOVA C and RFI issues of top concerns with cross functional team.
  • Take efforts for Benchmarking & horizontal deployment of Good systems & New initiatives.
