About The Position

The Deputy Infrastructure Director serves as the second-in-command to the Infrastructure Director and plays a critical leadership role in managing IT service delivery across 13 state-operated healthcare facilities. This position directly oversees the Help desk and Desktop Support managers, ensuring high-quality end-user support, incident resolution, and endpoint readiness, including EHR-related systems such as Epic. The Deputy Infrastructure Director contributes to strategic planning, operational oversight, team development, and IT service performance monitoring, supporting the continuity and efficiency of patient care and administrative services.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or an IT related field or a related curriculum from an appropriately accredited institution and four years of progressive experience in telecommunications network management, analysis, or design OR Associate degree in computer science or an IT related field or a related curriculum from an appropriately accredited institution and five years of progressive experience in telecommunications network management, analysis, or design OR High School or General Educational Development (GED) diploma and eight years of progressive experience in telecommunications network management, analysis, or design OR An equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Thorough knowledge of the management techniques involved in resource allocation and personnel management.
  • Ability to plan for the IT needs of the department.
