In this influential role, you will: Lead Internal Audit Services: Develop, execute, and report on the annual risk-based Audit Plan to support Covered California's mission, strategic plan, and goals. You'll ensure audit findings are evidence-based and provide actionable solutions that strengthen internal controls and drive organizational improvement. Oversee External Audit Coordination: Direct the coordination of external audits conducted by federal and state agencies, ensuring alignment with federal and state mandates. Shape Policy and Strategy: Develop and maintain audit policies in accordance with professional auditing standards, leveraging your expertise to allocate resources strategically and prioritize risks effectively. Provide strategic oversight to ensure effective identification and resolution of noncompliance issues. Effective July 1, 2025, in response to the budget deficit, the Department of Human Resources (CalHR) has implemented the Personal Leave Program 2025 (PLP 2025).
