About The Position

The I/E/C Specialist is a senior, hands-on technical role responsible for supporting construction completion, commissioning, startup, and early operations of a growing portfolio of Renewable Natural Gas facilities. This position is a field-forward individual contributor role, acting as the technical bridge between Engineering, Construction, and Operations to ensure systems are safe, functional, maintainable, and ready for long-term operations. This role requires extensive travel and direct engagement at active construction and operating sites. The I/E/C Specialist operates with significant autonomy while remaining tightly aligned with Operations leadership and project teams.

Requirements

  • 8-12+ years of hands-on I/E/C experience in RNG, oil & gas, power generation, chemical, or similar industrial environments
  • Strong field experience with PLCs, HMIs, instrumentation, MCCs, VFDs, and industrial plant power systems
  • Proven experience supporting construction, commissioning, startup, and early operations
  • Practical, execution-focused mindset with strong troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to work independently while coordinating across multiple disciplines
  • Willingness and ability to travel extensively as required by project needs
  • Candidates must demonstrate practical familiarity with industrial automation systems, examples include:PLCs: Allen-Bradley (ControlLogix, CompactLogix), Siemens (S7), or equivalentHMIs / SCADA: FactoryTalk View, Ignition, Wonderware/AVEVA, or similarCommunications: Ethernet/IP, Modbus TCP & RTU, Profibus/Profinet, serial, fiber, radio, cellular telemetryAbility to navigate logic, troubleshoot I/O and communications faults, and support controlled logic changes under MOC
