Meridian Charter Township is seeking a qualified and dedicated professional to serve as Deputy Clerk/Election Administrator. This position plays a vital role in supporting the Township Clerk in the administration of elections and the overall operations of the Clerk's Office. The ideal candidate will bring both logistical expertise in election processes and a commitment to public service. The Deputy Clerk/Election Administrator is responsible for a wide range of tasks requiring accuracy, confidentiality, and discretion. This role also involves community-facing responsibilities. A successful candidate will work collaboratively with the Clerk to promote civic engagement. This includes coordinating community meetings and events, voter outreach and education efforts, and using various platforms, such as our website and local newspapers, to strengthen public participation and support transparency.
