About The Position

This position is for individuals who are interested in being considered for
Appointed Professional opportunities within Shelby County General Sessions
Criminal Court Judges Office. All required duties will be performed within an
assigned area of General Sessions Criminal Court Judges Office.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• PROOF OF EDUCATION, TRAINING AND/OR EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED.
• Ability to display excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to effectively communicate both orally and in writing.
• Ability to deal with the public and co-workers with courtesy and tact.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, professional and diverse environment.
• Ability to exercise good judgment and discretion in evaluating situations and making sound decisions.
• Must be thorough and dependable when performing various job assignments.

Responsibilities

• Works with Microsoft products, including Windows, Outlook, Excel, and Word.
• Composes general correspondence.
• Follows up and carries out various duties.
• Performs other related duties as required.
