The Deposits Operations Specialist will assist in processing NSF returns, non-post items, stop payment, and RDIs in a timely and accurate manner to ensure compliance and regulatory standards are met. Provide support to internal banking center staff and other departments as requested. Will perform duties such as account maintenance, assist with Electronic Services such as ACH, debit card disputes, inquiries, online & mobile banking products, as well as assist with court orders and general deposit related tasks in the department. Essential Job Functions include, but are not limited to: Perform CIF and account maintenance functions. Complete deposit related verification and confirmation requests. Process returns of disputed and/or unauthorized transactions related to ACH, debit card and/or check paper items. Perform, review, and/or verify accuracy of all deposit account maintenance & transactions including checking, savings, IRA, HSA, and CD accounts. Processes subpoena, levy, and garnishment documents timely and accurately. Process and maintain returned mail according to procedure. Assist in processing exception items and notices as assigned. Assist departments and banking center personnel with e-banking related inquires or troubleshooting for online & mobile banking including add-on features such as bill pay and P2P payment applications. Assist with debit card order verifications, compromise fraud card alerts, disputes and inquiries including transactions, management of travel & limit restrictions. Provide superior customer service support to internal banking centers and departments as requested. Create and maintain desktop procedures for all job functions. Ensures departmental functions are performed in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, policies & procedures. Perform duties related to the Bank Secrecy Act under the guidance of the BSA Officer. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Requirements

  • Understanding and knowledge of banking regulations.
  • Must demonstrate ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly.
  • Ability to pay attention to the minute details of a project or task.
  • Advanced organization and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of products.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills and the ability to interact professional with associates, including Executive & Senior Management as well as subject matter experts.
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills with a problem-solving ability.
  • ‪4 Year College Degree preferred; High school diploma or GED required.
  • Demonstrated experience in an Operations area; minimum of 3 yrs. experience in banking industry.
