Operational Management & Execution: Manage and oversee the day-to-day activities of specific Deposit Operations functions (e.g., Account Servicing, Transaction Processing, Reconciliations, or a combination). Ensure the timely, accurate, and efficient processing of deposit-related transactions, account maintenance, and exception handling. Implement operational strategies and initiatives as directed by the Director of Deposit Operations. Monitor operational performance against established KPIs and service level agreements, proactively addressing deviations. Ensure all operational processes and team activities strictly comply with banking laws, regulations (e.g., BSA/AML, Reg E, Reg CC), internal policies, and procedures. Implement and enforce internal controls to mitigate operational risks, prevent fraud, and minimize errors. Assist in preparing for and responding to internal audits, external examinations, and compliance reviews. Identify and escalate potential compliance breaches or significant operational risks to the Director of Deposit Operations. Process Improvement & Technology Implementation: Identify opportunities for process enhancements and efficiency gains within assigned operational areas. Lead and participate in projects aimed at streamlining workflows, implementing automation, and optimizing operational tools and systems. Collaborate with IT and other departments on the testing and implementation of new technologies or system upgrades affecting deposit operations. Work closely with internal partners such as IT, Risk, Compliance, Branch Operations, and Customer Service to resolve operational issues and support bank-wide initiatives. Provide operational expertise and support for new product launches or changes affecting deposit processes. Lead, mentor, and develop a team of supervisors, team leads, and/or operational specialists. Foster a high-performance culture, promoting teamwork, accountability, and continuous learning within the team. Conduct performance reviews, provide constructive feedback, and identify training and development needs for team members.
