Deployment Strategist

Pace BPONew York, NY
2dOnsite

About The Position

We’re looking for someone to own the business success of Pace’s agents at our largest insurance customers. You’ll drive post-deployment outcomes: adoption, measurable optional impact, and expansion across workflows and teams. You’ll sit at the intersection of customer operations, product strategy, and account growth. This role doesn’t require a software engineering background. At Pace, we're building a talent-dense team where teammates grow into leaders. This might mean growing into a world-class IC, owning a line of business, or leading teams. Whichever your path, we want to support you to grow at Pace and beyond for the long-term. We're a <20 person team based in-person in New York and are lucky to be perfectly positioned with leading customers and top investors to make a real impact on one of the largest industries in the world.

Requirements

  • Have high autonomy, a strong bias to action, and a genuine curiosity for understanding customers.
  • Have experience operating at the intersection of product, engineering, and customers.
  • Communicate clearly with executives, operators, and technical teams.
  • Are comfortable turning messy, real-world workflows into clear, executable steps.
  • Have a high-ownership mindset — you’re accountable for outcomes, not just deliverables.

Nice To Haves

  • Founder or startup experience.

Responsibilities

  • Own post-deployment success and expansion: Serve as the primary point of ownership once an agent is live – driving adoption, measuring impact, and identifying opportunities to expand usage across additional workflows or business units.
  • Translate customer operations into product direction: Work closely with customers and GTM teams to understand real-world workflows, pain points, and success criteria, and translate those insights into clear product requirements and priorities.
  • Drive executive-level value narratives: Lead demos, pilots, and business reviews that clearly articulate ROI, operational impact, and expansion opportunities to customer stakeholders.
  • Partner with Product & Engineering: Collaborate with Engineering and Product to drive roadmap, surface gaps, edge cases, and improvement opportunities.
