About The Position

Quanex is looking for a Department Material Handler to join our team located in Owatonna, Minnesota. The hours are Monday - Thursday, 3:30pm - 2:00am. In this role you are responsible for moving material within the plant and keeping designated work areas supplied with material. We Offer You! Requirements

  • Experience in manufacturing operations is preferred
  • Forklift and other material handling experience required

Responsibilities

  • Receive and stock finished goods.
  • Store materials in designated locations, ensuring they are properly organized and accessible.
  • Pull and package materials for delivery to various departments or workstations.
  • Hook and unhook carts with hitch system.
  • Scan finished goods and raw materials with RF scanner, verifying all information.
  • Participate in quality control checks and ensure materials meet the required specifications.
  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment as needed.
