We're looking for the best and brightest to take our company to the next level. Due to growth, it has created a need for a Material Handler at our manufacturing facility in New Berlin, Wisconsin. This role will have responsibility for daily material handling duties and tasks to assist production and operations. The position comes with a competitive hourly wage, full comprehensive benefits program, 401(k) retirement program + match, paid time off and holiday pay. If you are selected for an interview, other information will be shared throughout the interviewing process. The hours for this position are 2:15 PM - 10:30 PM, Monday through Friday.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Two years in a warehouse/production environment is preferred
  • Must have a valid WI driver’s license (required for forklift operation) and be insurable Driver’s license is not a requirement for forklift. Why insurable? Prior experience as a forklift driver is preferred. Must be able to obtain a forklift license through DreamPak.
  • Candidates must be in good physical condition and be able to remain on their feet for an extended period of time.
  • An ability to use machines and software to track inventory along with good organizational and time management skills are critical.
  • Material handlers must be able to process and follow written and spoken instructions.

Responsibilities

  • Picking orders from inventory
  • Report any food safety and quality problems to personnel with authority to initiate action
  • Unloading, moving and storing materials between the production line, storage and shipping/receiving ensuring that there is no stoppage in the production line
  • Operates forklift to move materials as appropriate
  • Storing and stacking materials according to company standards
  • Safely and effectively drives Company vehicle to transport materials between the production facility and relevant warehouse(s).
  • Identifying and verifying parts.
  • Responsible for adhering food safety, cGMPs, employee safety, quality standards, sanitary practices and customer specifications
