What does a Department Clerk I or II do for us? A Department Clerk I or II is an entry level position. Under direct supervision, they perform routine support functions following established work procedures. Functions may include data collection, data entry, reconciliation, document processing, copying, information exchange, filing, and record-keeping. A Department Clerk II’s work is generally of a critical or confidential nature and requires broad knowledge of company and/or department procedures.
