About The Position

Matrix Providers is seeking a Dentist (DMD/DDS) to join their team of medical professionals. This role involves conducting one-time, non-treatment Veteran Disability Exams in Medford, OR. The position is for an Independent Contractor, paid hourly on a bi-weekly basis, with a schedule of two days a month (preferably Wednesdays, with an option for two half days). The primary responsibility is to review medical history, perform compensation and pension exams for veterans, and electronically document all responses through web-based forms. The completed exams are then submitted to the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs for disability award determinations.

Requirements

Degree: Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) or Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS)
Education: Graduate from an accredited dental school approved by the Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA) of the American Dental Association (ADA)
A specialty Dentist must graduate from a dental specialty training program that the CODA of the ADA or an accepted equivalent program accredits
Hold and maintain an active and unrestricted license in the specialty field of M.D. or D.O. for your employment
Certification: Have an active and valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Good interpersonal skills and a willingness to be flexible and adapt to changing situations
Must possess basic computer skills
All on-site staff and contractors must be fully vaccinated per CDC and state guidelines
