About The Position

Competitive Pay: Hourly rates start at $25/hr, with higher compensation available for candidates with extensive experience! Responsibilities: ✔ Oversee and manage patient scheduling across multiple locations, ensuring provider efficiency and patient satisfaction using Dentrix Ascend, Open Dental or similar software. ✔ Lead front office operations, streamlining patient check-in/check-out, documentation accuracy, and workflow coordination. ✔ Be the primary point of contact for patient inquiries, providing clear and compassionate communication regarding treatments, financial policies, and appointment logistics. ✔ Maintain meticulous patient records, ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with HIPAA regulations. ✔ Coordinate with providers, treatment coordinators, and dental assistants to ensure smooth patient flow and high-quality care. ✔ Train and mentor junior receptionists and administrative staff, fostering a culture of professionalism and exceptional service. ✔ Optimize scheduling strategies to maximize provider productivity while keeping wait times minimal.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in dental reception, front office administration, or a similar senior role.
  • Proficient in dental office software (Dentrix Ascend, Eaglesoft, Open Dental).
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to train, mentor, and oversee front office staff.
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities to handle high-volume, fast-paced environments confidently.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a warm, patient-first mindset.
