About The Position

At Pediatric Dentistry of Valley Stream, we believe every child deserves a positive, fun dental experience. Our compassionate, energetic team delivers exceptional care in a welcoming environment designed just for kids and teens. We're looking for a friendly, organized Front Desk / Patient Care Coordinator to be the first point of contact for our patients and families-a role that truly sets the tone for every visit.

Requirements

• 1+ year of dental front desk or receptionist experience (Required)
• Excellent communication, multitasking, and organizational skills
• Friendly, reliable, and professional under pressure
• High school diploma or equivalent (Required)
• Ability to commute or relocate to Valley Stream, NY

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Dentrix or similar dental software (Preferred)
• Knowledge of pediatric dentistry is a plus
• Spanish-speaking is a strongly preferred

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and families with warmth and professionalism
• Schedule appointments, verify insurance, and maintain patient records
• Handle check-in, check-out, payments, and forms accurately
• Communicate treatment plans, insurance coverage, and financial options clearly
• Support the clinical team to ensure smooth patient flow
• Answer phones, coordinate referrals, and follow up on visits
• Ensure HIPAA compliance and maintain organized documentation
• Create a friendly, positive experience for every child and parent
