Requirements

  • 1+ year of dental or medical office experience preferred (front desk or call center)
  • Comfort with scheduling, digital dental software, and insurance verification
  • Exceptional communication and customer service skills
  • Professional, empathetic, and team-oriented mindset
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and thrive in a high-volume setting
  • High school diploma or equivalent required

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus, but not required

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the welcoming face at the front desk - greet patients, check them in and out, and ensure all paperwork is complete
  • Manage a high volume of inbound and outbound calls, answering questions about scheduling, insurance, procedures, and patient needs
  • Schedule, confirm, and reschedule appointments efficiently, optimizing provider and surgical time
  • Process insurance verifications, patient payments, and maintain accurate digital records (knowledge of dental software a plus)
  • Assist patients with check-in/check-out, registration, and billing questions
  • Support the clinical team with communication, chart prep, and daily workflow
  • Handle confidential patient information in compliance with HIPAA
  • Collaborate with other staff to ensure a smooth patient experience from first contact to follow-up
  • Be a resource for patient questions, helping them feel confident and at ease about their care
