About The Position

Woodland Park Dental Group, located in Woodland Park, Colorado is seeking an experienced Dental Patient Coordinator to join our team full-time , Monday through Friday . We are an established, fast-paced office known for delivering exceptional dental care in a friendly, supportive environment. Our ideal candidate will have 6+ months of dental experience in a front office setting, believe in treating patients like family, and strive to create a memorable experience at every visit. This position requires someone who is detail-oriented, organized, great at communication, and able to multitask in a fast-paced office environment. As a Dental Patient Coordinator, your duties will include:

Requirements

  • Experience in a dental front office setting (6+ months is required)
  • Insurance verification/knowledge (required)
  • Knowledge of dental procedure codes (required)
  • Customer Service skills (answering phones, scheduling, check-in/check-out)
  • Ability to multitask

Nice To Haves

  • Denticon software experience is a plus!
  • Proficiency with dental software (experience with Denticon is a plus).

Responsibilities

  • Checking patients in/out
  • Insurance verification understanding
  • Answering phones
  • Calling re-care patients
  • Scheduling appointments
  • Assisting with keeping the schedule full
  • Collecting payments from patients' current and outstanding balances
  • Greet patients with a friendly, welcoming demeanor.
  • Manage patient scheduling and maintain an organized appointment calendar.
  • Verify insurance information and assist patients with financing options.
  • Collect payments and ensure accurate processing.
  • Answer phone calls and respond to patient inquiries in a professional, helpful manner.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and perform various administrative tasks.
  • Collaborate with the dental team to ensure effective communication and seamless patient care.
  • Enter treatment plans into the practice management system and ensure appropriate fee schedules are loaded
  • Assist with keeping the front office organized, tidy, and well stocked with coffee, tea, and bathroom supplies are stocked
