The delivery specialist position verifies and keeps records on outgoing shipments and prepares items for shipment by performing the following duties to quality and productivity standards. Work closely with Pre-Shipping during refill and order processing in preparation to call, text and/or email Patient of delivery. Ensure Patient has been called and information has been verified (Name, shipping address, payment information). Verify patient name, shipping address, medication against Delivery form before packing. Ensure the correct patient's name and address is on UPS labels. Scan and Route problems to correct areas. Ensure the correct packing procedure for shipping cold and non-cold items is followed. Ensure all delivery forms and automatic shipment forms are scanned to patient profile. Restock the shipping supplies daily as needed. Ensure all voicemails are returned by end of shift. Submit Claims for damaged or lost packages and follow up. Help maintain Error log (Excel Spreadsheet). Ensure paperwork is organized and filed appropriately. Assist the Delivery Manager with tracking of RUSH shipments. Abide by all obligations under HIPAA related to Protected Health Information (PHI). If a HIPAA violation is discovered, whether individually or by another, you must report the violation to the Compliance Officer and/or Human Resources. Attend, complete, and demonstrate competency in all required HIPAA Training offered by the company.
