About The Position

Grand Canyon University is seeking a Delivery Receiver to support the mission of Grand Canyon University through GCU's Food Service department Purpose within the Organization: The purpose of this position is to receive product and put them away in the designated area for the Chick-Fil-A Diamondback location on campus. This position will receive deliveries from our supplier 3 days a week. Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday at 5:30am.

Requirements

• Must comply with any dress code and PPE requirements.
• Must have a Maricopa County Food Handler’s Card and non-slip shoes.
• Willingness to be open to learning and growing.
• Maintain a positive attitude.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule.
• Must comply with all dress code requirements.
• Enrolled at GCU as a full-time student in a Bachelor’s program or Master’s program.
• Retain a 2.0 GPA as a Bachelor level student or a 3.0 GPA as a Master level student.
• Maintain good financial and academic (SAP) standing with the University.
• You may be subject to termination if you fall below the minimum requirements.

Nice To Haves

• Ability to work over Summer preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receiving products and stocking them in the correct area.
• Check items for damage and letting the supervisor know if we did not receive items.
• Break empty boxes down and take them to the designated trash area.
• Required to clean and sanitize workstations, counters, steam tables and other equipment.
• Able to constantly lift objects and able to lift up to 50lbs.
• May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
