About The Position

Purpose within the Organization: The purpose of this position is to act as a Front of House (FOH) team member for the Chick-Fil-A Diamondback location on campus. This position will greet and take orders from customers and prepare orders. As a Food Service Worker, this position will also prepare food, bag food, and make sure all product is prepared to Chick-Fil-A standards.

Requirements

Must comply with any dress code and PPE requirements.
Must have a Maricopa County Food Handler’s Card and non-slip shoes.
Willingness to be open to learning and growing.
Maintain a positive attitude.
Ability to work a flexible schedule.
Must comply with all dress code requirements.
Enrolled at GCU as a full-time student in a Bachelor’s program or Master’s program.
Retain a 2.0 GPA as a Bachelor level student or a 3.0 GPA as a Master level student.
Maintain good financial and academic (SAP) standing with the University.
You may be subject to termination if you fall below the minimum requirements.

Nice To Haves

Ability to work over Summer preferred.

Responsibilities

Greet all customers in the serving and dining areas.
Record all sales, collect money, operate a cash register, and follow all cash handling procedures as required.
Provide attentive and responsive customer service.
May be required to prepare for service before the meal and clean the dining room after the meal.
May be required to clean and sanitize workstations, counters, steam tables and other equipment.
May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
