Delivery Manager

CRG Technology Ltd.London, CA
Hybrid

About The Position

CRG Technology is a specialist IT services and consultancy firm built on deep partnerships with Cisco, Microsoft Azure, and Palo Alto Networks. We are the trusted infrastructure partner for organisations that demand enterprise-grade networking, security, and cloud solutions delivered with precision and accountability. Founded as a lean, expert-led consultancy, CRG Technology has grown into an international delivery partner with presence across the United Kingdom, EU, and South Africa. We are not a generalist IT company. We are infrastructure specialists who have deliberately chosen depth over breadth, building concentrated expertise in the platforms and technologies that form the backbone of modern enterprise operations. We’re a growing consultancy. That means the work is demanding, the pace is fast, and no two weeks look the same. We need people who thrive in that environment, not people who need a programme office around them to function. CRG Technology works remotely but our clients are mainly London headquartered so this role would need to be able to travel into London for client and team meetings. We’re looking for a Delivery Manager who can take operational ownership of our infrastructure delivery across multiple concurrent workstreams. This is not a single-project, single-client role. You’ll be orchestrating our delivery capability: driving our engineering teams, holding people accountable, and ensuring every engagement we run is delivered to the standard our clients expect. Your immediate priority will be leading a large-scale VMware-to-Azure migration programme (approximately 250 VMs using Azure Migrate) for a regulated sector client. But alongside that, you’ll be picking up and coordinating across other live infrastructure work, including network refreshes, security projects, cloud builds, and whatever else is on the board. Context switching is the norm here. You might go from a client steering committee in the morning to unblocking an engineer on a firewall migration in the afternoon to scoping a new piece of work before end of day. You need to be comfortable with that pace and have the infrastructure knowledge to operate credibly across all of it. Above all, this is someone who drives teamwork, creates operational rhythm, and takes personal accountability for delivery outcomes. You own the results. A key dimension of this role is the ability to transition projects from active delivery into a CRG-led managed service. As engagements complete, you’ll be expected to shape and hand over into ongoing service operations, bringing a strong understanding of service management frameworks and what good operational support looks like. CRG aims to provide a frictionless experience for our customers from sales through delivery and into operations. This role is central to making that a reality, ensuring seamless handoffs, consistent communication, and a client experience that builds long-term trust.

Requirements

  • Proven experience managing multiple concurrent infrastructure delivery workstreams in a consultancy or MSP environment
  • Strong infrastructure background. You understand networking, cloud, security, and identity well enough to have credible conversations with engineers and architects
  • Operational accountability: you own delivery outcomes, not just reporting on them
  • Experience orchestrating engineering teams, driving accountability, managing capacity, removing blockers, and keeping people focused
  • Comfortable with rapid context switching across different projects, clients, and technologies without dropping the ball
  • Strong governance instincts: RAID, change control, status reporting, and steering committees. Second nature in a multi-project environment
  • Excellent client relationship management and the ability to instil confidence that delivery is in safe hands
  • Self-sufficient and proactive. You don’t wait to be told what needs doing
  • Understanding of service operations and managed service frameworks. You can transition a project into BAU and know what good looks like

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with VMware-to-Azure migrations, Azure Migrate, and Azure Landing Zones
  • Familiarity with Cisco and Palo Alto environments from a network and security perspective
  • PRINCE2, PMP, or MSP qualified
  • Background in regulated sectors (legal, finance, insurance)
  • Experience with delivery tooling such as ClickUp or Jira
  • Comfortable in a start-up consultancy environment where you shape processes as much as follow them

Responsibilities

  • Orchestrating CRG’s delivery capability across multiple concurrent infrastructure projects and client engagements
  • Driving engineering teams with accountability, ensuring tasks are understood, dependencies are managed, and delivery commitments are met
  • Leading the delivery of a 250-VM VMware-to-Azure migration as your anchor engagement, owning schedule, budget, and client relationship
  • Context switching across workstreams: cloud migrations, network refreshes, security projects, and ad-hoc infrastructure work
  • Building and maintaining operational rhythm, including standups, sprint cadence, reporting cycles, and governance frameworks that keep multiple workstreams moving
  • Running governance across all engagements: RAID management, change control, status reporting, and steering committees
  • Being the glue between engineering delivery and client expectations, translating technical progress into clear, confident client communication
  • Identifying resource conflicts, dependencies, and risks across the portfolio and driving resolution proactively
  • Fostering a culture of teamwork, ownership, and delivery excellence within the engineering team
  • Transitioning completed projects into CRG-led managed services, shaping the handover, defining service operations, and ensuring continuity for the client
  • Reducing friction across the sales-to-delivery-to-operations lifecycle, ensuring clients experience a seamless, joined-up service from CRG

Benefits

  • Genuine operational ownership. Not a cog in a machine, but the person driving the machine
  • Variety and pace. No two weeks look the same across our client base
  • Direct impact on a growing business. Your contribution shapes how we deliver, not just what we deliver
  • Work across leading technology ecosystems: Cisco, Palo Alto, Azure
  • A no-nonsense culture that values technical credibility, delivery excellence, and getting things done
  • For the right candidate, this role can transition into a Head of Department position with associated remuneration as the business continues to grow
