About The Position

Tonkin Parts Center is the Largest Automotive Original Equipment Parts Warehouse in the U.S.! We deliver Parts all over the Pacific Northwest with new customers being added daily! We are currently looking for a Parts Delivery Driver\Customer Service Specialist for the Boise, ID area! We deliver to repair shops and collision centers in the Boise area, and are looking for a candidate who can safely and accurately deliver parts to our existing customers, while working to help grow our business in Treasure Valley! This is a full-time position (40+ hours/week). The scheduled start time will be between 5:00AM and 6:00AM. About our Boise Delivery Driver position This Parts Delivery Driver position in Boise will be responsible for delivering parts to our customers, but also building and maintaining relationships with new and existing customers, while looking for additional growth opportunities. The Driver should be comfortable making an initial contact with new potential customers, and starting a conversation to earn their business. Clear communication with our dispatchers and customers is vital for this role. Paying attention to all the details and verifying order information against actual deliveries ensures our customers get all their parts, they are happy, and they keep doing business with us. We utilize the Elite Extra system to track deliveries and for route optimization! Working and driving safely is essential for this position. Previous driving experience is preferred, but not required. To be successful in this role you will need to regularly lift up to 75lbs as well as reach, bend, and twist while moving potentially awkward and fragile parts. Time is of the essence to ensure our customers can count on deliveries being made on time, every time! Requirements

• Valid driver's license
• Must be comfortable driving a 12-18ft box truck
• Customer Service Skills
• Attention to detail
• Must be 18 years or older with a valid driver's license, acceptable driving record, and able to pass a criminal background check

Nice To Haves

• 1-2+ years of delivery driving preferred, but not required
• Previous driving experience is preferred, but not required.
