Delivery Driver and Fabricator
About The Position
The delivery Driver is responsible to ensure that the products that we create for our customers are delivered safely and on time. As an outward-facing employee, you will be expected to exhibit professionalism and a service-oriented attitude. The Fabricator is responsible for various jobs throughout the shop. Duties that are included in the Fabricator position could include laser/punching, bending, sanding, hardware, welding, and powder coat. As a fabricator you are expected to help in all of the areas in which you have been trained. Delivery Driver Duties Safely load, transport, and deliver fabricated sheet metal products to job sites and customers Operate company vehicles (truck/van) in compliance with all traffic and safety regulations Verify delivery paperwork and ensure accurate, on-time deliveries Secure loads properly to prevent damage during transport Communicate with shop staff and customers regarding delivery schedules Perform basic vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs Fabrication & Shop Duties Assist with sheet metal fabrication, assembly, and finishing Operate shop equipment such as shears, brakes, punches, saws, and hand tools (training provided if needed) Measure, cut, bend, and assemble sheet metal components Help with material handling, staging jobs, and maintaining workflow Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Assist with general shop tasks as needed
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
- Basic mechanical or fabrication skills preferred (but willing to train the right person)
- Experience in a fabrication shop, construction, HVAC, or manufacturing environment is a plus
- Ability to read tape measures and follow instructions accurately
- Strong work ethic, punctuality, and reliability
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
