About The Position

Assembling, fabricating, and installing small components and parts using hand tools and basic power equipment in line with technical specifications and quality standards Interpreting assembly diagrams, blueprints, and work orders to ensure accuracy in fabrication and production Conducting visual inspections and measurements to verify the conformance of assembled products to design tolerances and quality requirements Maintaining clean and organized work areas and adheres to strict safety protocols during assembly and fabrication operations Documenting production activities, reports assembly defects, and participating in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize operational efficiency FILLING THIS POSITION IS CONTINGENT UPON FUNDING #LI-TF1

Requirements

  • One or more years of experience in an assemblers or fabricator role
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field
  • Demonstrated ability to interpret technical drawings and assembly instructions to accurately fabricate and assemble components in accordance with established specifications
  • Proficient in using basic hand and power tools, measuring instruments, and fabrication equipment to ensure quality assembly and precise fitment of parts
  • Possess an active DoD Secret security clearance
  • SRC IS A CONTRACTOR FOR THE U.S. GOVERNMENT, THIS POSITION WILL REQUIRE U.S. CITIZENSHIP AS WELL AS, A U.S. GOVERNMENT SECURITY CLEARANCE AT THE SECRET LEVEL

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) or similar inventory tracking software to log assembly and fabrication activities
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot assembly issues and suggest process improvements to reduce waste and enhance productivity
  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality, safety, and compliance with technical standards
  • Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and report production progress or issues
