About The Position
The Deli Department Clerk at Payson Market is responsible for performing essential duties with accuracy and maintaining a high level of productivity. This role requires exhibiting and developing maximum customer relations through friendly and courteous behavior, promoting high morale within the department and store, and maintaining good working relationships with other department managers to improve storewide sales. The clerk must comply with all company policies, programs, and directives as specified in the Code of Conduct, and provide a professional example for other store team members. Key responsibilities include possessing sufficient knowledge and ability to teach others all fundamentals of deli production, including mixing, scaling, cooking, frying, and finishing. The position also involves maintaining a high level of coordination and communication with other departments to ensure a smooth flow of products and service, and keeping adequate and appropriate department records.
