Defense Industrial Base Analyst Position Summary: Position Description: Defense Industrial Base Analyst Location: On-Site and Telework (when authorized), National Capital Region Employment Category: Full-Time Employee Travel: Yes Deployment: No Drug screening: Yes Security Clearance: Citizenship: TS/(SCI eligible) clearance required Must be a U.S. Citizen Education Minimum Master’s degree in Homeland Security, Public Administration, or related field. Bachelor’s degree in Security Studies, Public Administration, Engineering, ITS, or related field. Required Experience 4 years of experience in critical infrastructure risk management, security analysis, or a related field. Strong understanding of DoD critical infrastructure protection principles and practices, including PPD-21 and DIB SRMA initiatives. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to research, analyze data, and develop recommendations on complex security issues. Experience working within the DoD or a related government agency. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and collaboration tools. Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to prepare clear and concise reports and briefings for a variety of audiences. Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Responsibilities: SANCORP is seeking a Defense Industrial Base Analyst to support the office of the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Defense Continuity and Mission Assurance (DC&MA). The DASD DC&MA develops plans, policies, and leadership support initiatives to assure the DoD can execute its core functions, even in the face of asymmetric military threats and severe natural hazards to defense installations and infrastructure. DC&MA also strengthens such oversight by helping the Secretary of Defense and other senior leaders integrate a broad range of threat- and component-specific programs, and by building effective partnerships with other Federal Departments and the private sector to build the resilience of external infrastructure essential to defense operations: Provide technical advice and support to DoD Defense Industrial Base Sector Risk Management Agency (DIB SRMA) efforts, PPD-21 (and follow-on national level policy guidance) implementation, USG critical infrastructure risk management efforts, and non-DoD owned DCI risk management efforts. Provide support to formal and informal meetings, boards, councils, and committees by booking conference rooms, facilitating VTC scheduling, tracking meeting participation or attendance, managing invites to stakeholders and partners in the USG and private sector. Produce preparatory materials, notes, summaries, formal summaries of conclusion (SOCs) of meetings related to the DIB SRMA efforts. Tracking MA-related developments in the DIB, USG, and private sector in order to facilitate enhancement of DoD’s risk management approach. Requirements
