About The Position

As a Security Officer - Defense Industrial Patrol in Philadelphia, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated areas within an aerospace and defense location. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents while you provide exceptional customer service and clear communication. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide excellent customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies in accordance with Allied Universal standards.
Respond to incidents and critical situations at the location in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or security-related concerns.
Observe and report any unusual activity, security-related hazards, or emergencies encountered during patrols.
Assist with access control and monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized entry into restricted areas.
Communicate clearly and professionally with staff, visitors, and/or contractors as needed.
Support emergency response activities as directed by Allied Universal and site management.
Complete detailed and accurate reports related to patrols, incidents, and/or security-related matters.
