Defense Capture Manager, Lead The Opportunity: Supports and leads capture efforts within the defense market, driving the full life cycle of opportunity pursuit from identification through award. This role is responsible for developing winning strategies, shaping customer requirements, and ensuring solution, pricing, and proposal alignment with customer priorities and competitive dynamics. This role requires foundational experience in business development or capture. The capture manager will work closely with technical teams, and customer-facing staff to develop strong captures strategies that lead to compliant and compelling bids. Prefer candidates to have knowledge of the U.S. defense ecosystem, such as programs, acquisition pathways, procurement trends, and key decision makers, and a strong track record of successfully capturing large and strategic opportunities. Key Responsibilities include: Develop capture artifacts such as capture plans, call plans, competitor analysis, and preliminary win strategies. Support customer engagement efforts, including shaping outreach, gathering customer insights, and participating in customer meetings alongside account leadership. Develop win themes, discriminators, and teaming strategies. Partner with solution architects and SMEs to translate customer needs into viable technical and management approaches. Support the development of pricing strategies with guidance from pricing and finance teams. Coordinate and lead gate reviews, status briefings, action tracking, and documentation needed throughout the capture life cycle. Assist in identifying potential teammates and subcontractors and help manage teaming documentation. Facilitate the transition from capture to proposal, ensuring alignment with win strategy and customer priorities.
