About The Position

The Dedicated Dispatcher will perform a variety of administrative-related duties, including, but not limited to the following: Dispatch loads to drivers and ensure that all vital information is passed on to the driver to increase the satisfaction of external customers Trace all shipments transported by drivers Manage the performance and time-off of all drivers in fleet Manage all compliance issues with drivers Issue purchase orders to reimburse drivers for out-pocket road expenses Route drivers to ensure that D.O.T. requirements are met as well as fuel stop requirements Satisfy the mileage expectations of drivers in their fleet by monitoring and working closely with Load Planners

Requirements

• Good phone and communication skills
• Must be detail oriented and good with following-up on unfinished tasks
• Basic personal computer or host terminal skills required
• Employment is contingent upon passing a background check and drug screen

Nice To Haves

• An associate degree in a business-related or communication field is preferred
• Previous dispatch work experience in the trucking industry may be substituted for education
• Two (2) years of dispatch experience preferred
