Decision Support Analyst
About The Position
Analytical and detail-oriented professional responsible for supporting clinical operations through data-driven insights, evidence-based decision tools, and optimization of electronic health record (EHR) workflows. Works closely with nursing, physicians, finance, and administrative leadership to enhance revenue cycle. Utilizes clinical expertise and technical proficiency to translate complex clinical processes into meaningful reports, dashboards, and decision support solutions. Collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to identify performance gaps, develop improvement strategies, and ensure alignment with organizational goals. Maintains a strong understanding of clinical practice standards and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- HS/GED Required
- Two years of Healthcare related experience in a hospital setting preferred.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor's in Nursing, Business, HIM or related fields preferred
- RN, RHIA or RHIT preferred
