About The Position

The Deburring Operator is responsible for producing clean, finished parts that are ready for the next step in production. This position uses tumblers, dryers, and related equipment to remove sharp edges and improve part quality, playing an important role in ensuring parts meet customer specifications. The Deburring Operator also supports material flow, tracks production, and maintains an organized work area to keep operations running smoothly.

Requirements

6–12 months of relevant manufacturing or production experience preferred
Basic math skills for weights, counts, and production tracking
Basic understanding of measuring tools such as calipers or micrometers
Strong attention to detail
Ability to stand and move throughout the shift in a production environment
Frequent handling of parts, bins, and materials
Ability to lift and move materials as needed
Repetitive motion involving loading, unloading, and inspecting parts
eye protection, hearing protection, MET guard safety shoes

Responsibilities

Operate tumblers and dryers to deburr, finish, and dry parts according to specifications
Load and unload parts while adjusting machine settings to achieve consistent results
Inspect parts before and after processing to verify quality standards are met
Move parts through the finishing process and prepare them for the next operation
Utilize computer systems to record production, manage inventory, and track job activity
Maintain organization of bins, boxes, and materials for each job
